Had another magical visit to a woman in ICU. Bodhi has great intuition.

The last few visits have been my favorites for a few reasons. I’m so proud and honored to be on this journey with Bodhi.

Something really magical happened today.

Bodhi started “working” in the parking lot and visited a staff member taking a break on a bench. She said “you are so needed” and “you’re both angels!” That made my day already!

I feel pretty honored that I get to wear a badge and visit people in the hospital. I make people smile…that’s pretty powerful.

If people got as much attention as dogs, the world would be a very happy place indeed!

Some of Bodhi’s favorite places to visit are the women in Medical Records, and any nurses station. They crowd around him and give him some loving, and he looks back and smiles at me…he loves his harem!

Visits with staff are just as important as visits with patients and their families. I can see them smile, even with masks on, the second they see Bodhi coming!

As we reflect during the Thanksgiving holiday about being thankful, I know that I have so much to be thankful for too, and am grateful every day. I love this quote: “It is not joy that makes us grateful, it is gratitude that makes us joyful.”
